Women's Fellowship anniversary

What a wonderful afternoon we had for our anniversary. Although at first we were disappointed at the response from other churches, we had visitors from St. Michael’s, Badminton Road and Whiteshill., as well as ladies from our own congregation

The speaker was Rosemary Barrett who is well known to us at Salem. She and her husband Eric run the ‘4H’ charity which supports the Hungarian people. Her illustrated talk left us feeling so thankful for all that we have. It was an uplifting afternoon. Rosemary gave each lady a copy of a book written by a Hungarian (translated into English!!)  entitled “Unnamed women of the Old Testament”  - it’s a good read!

After the worship session we all enjoyed a “Salem” tea.  Thank you Dawn for preparing this. It was much enjoyed by all who came.
